Compress JPG images online, for free
JPG (or JPEG) is the format almost every camera and phone saves photos in. Pixo compresses JPGs using a smart default quality setting tuned to stay visually lossless for real photos — no signup, no uploads.

How it works
- 01Drop one or more JPG photos into the box above.
- 02Click "Compress" — Pixo applies a smart-default quality automatically.
- 03Not happy with a result? Open its "Adjust" panel and drag the Quality slider, with a live size preview as you go.
- 04Download each result, or grab all of them at once as a ZIP.
Tips for better results
- JPG is a lossy format — each re-compression loses a little quality, so always compress from the original photo, not an already-compressed copy.
- Photos with lots of fine detail (landscapes, textures) compress less than simple images — that's expected, not a bug.
- If a JPG is still too large after compressing, resize its dimensions first (Advanced → Resize), then compress again.
