Send files privately

Choose up to five files, create a one-time link, and open it on the receiving device. Pixo never stores the files: the browsers transfer them directly when possible or through an encrypted relay when required.

Processed locallyYour files never leave this device — everything runs in your browser.

Release — they stay on this device
Before you connect: a direct peer connection may reveal each device's public network address to the other peer. Network infrastructure can observe connection metadata. File contents remain encrypted in transit.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose files

Select up to five supported files, 10 MB each and 50 MB total. They remain in this browser.

  2. 02

    Create a one-time link

Pixo creates a short-lived room and QR code without putting filenames, sizes, or file contents in the URL.

  3. 03

    Connect both devices

The receiver opens the link, compares the verification code, and explicitly accepts the file list.

  4. 04

    Transfer and verify

The encrypted browser connection sends each file and verifies its SHA-256 digest before it can be saved.

Tips for better results

  • Keep both pages open and in the foreground until the transfer completes.
  • Enable relay-only privacy before creating the link if you do not want the other peer to receive your direct network candidate.
  • Compare the eight-digit verification code on both devices before accepting files from someone else.
